Oct. 10, 1950 - Daddy Returns From Korean Waters - With Beard And John Does Not Like The Beard - Very Much: A member of the crew of H.M.S. Belfast which docked at Chatham today - the first vessel to return since the North Korean invasion - was Leading Seaman Francis Taylor of Tiddington, nr. Oxford. He was met by his wife Ann and their 21/2 year old son John. John was less than six months old when Daddy went away - and was rather disconcerted by the latter's beard. Photo shows Daddy L/Seaman Francis Taylor holds John a loft - and John is still not sure that he cares for the beard
