Jun. 06, 1953 - Mrs. Maclean Vanishes, With The Children: Mrs. Melinda Maclean, wife of the missing British diplomat, Donald Maclean, and her children have disappeared and are being looked for, spokesman of the British Consulate General said in Geneva today. The Foreign Office have been told Mrs.Maclean's dis appearance, the spokesman added information about the disappearance. Some week ago Mrs. Maclaen when to holiday to Majorca, in the Balearic Isles. She returned to Geneva to to takes her two eldest children to the International School there, But she found that the School terminal had been postponed for a week. Mrs. Maclean is then believed to have gone holiday for a few days in the Montreu area. The school term began on September 14. Neither of the Maclean children was there. Photo Shows Mrs. Maclean who has disappeared, seen with two of her children, Melidna, who, when this picture was taken in Sept, 1951 was then 3-months old - and Fergus who has then 7 years old
