Sep. 09, 1953 - Mobiles at London Hospital. Art for the patients: Dr. Simon Yudkin children's specialist has installed a number of Mobiles - ( shapes constructed from twisted metal and wire ) in the Whittington Hospital, Highgate. The idea is that they could help the children create an interest in their surroundings, Scultor Kenneth Martin a Hampstead Artist arranged the exhibition. Photo shows Kenneth Martin the designer of the Mobiles - shows one of his pieces to Staff Nurse Brenda Hanley and patient Patricia Norris ( 6 1/2 ) at the hospital today
