Nov. 11, 1952 - The High Commissioner Inaugurates New British Embassy Building Between Bonn And Bad Godesberg: The British High Commissioner in Germany - Sir Ivor Kirkpatrick recently performed the ceremony on inaugurating the new British Embassy Building - which has 180 rooms - on the border town between Bonn and Bad Godesberg. The British Embassy will be the second largest building in Bonn - the largest will be the American Embassy the planning of which has not yet been completed. The building which will be not yet been completed. The building which will be 63 metres long by 11 metres wide - and on three floors - will be completed in April next year.
