1954 - Gannet aircraft flight inaugurated. Handing over the log books. A ceremony was held at Ford, Sussex, R.N. Air station today to inaugurate the first unit of Fairey Gannet anti-Auhmarine aircraft - for the E.N. at which the flight skipper lieut commander F.E.
