Feb. 02, 1954 - Cutty Sark Leaves Greenhithe.: The Cutty Sark left Greenhithe today eventually take the Cutty Sark to her permanent home port of Greenwich. Captain Gordon Steels, V.C. (Captain Superintendent of H.M.S. Worcester ), who with his officers and men and the cadets of the Training Ship has taken care of the Cutty Sark ever the last 15 years, saw the last of the Clippers leave Greenhithe in to of the Gondia Photo shows captain Gordon Steele, V.C. looks through his glasses at the Cutty Sark when it left Greenhithe today
