Nov. 11, 1953 - Royal Pilot's Home Raided - Twice. Mrs. Loraine Listews to the radio.: Mrs. Mary Loraine, wife of Captain A.C. Loraine, who is piloting the Queen's Aircraft to Beranda - had her Chelsea home raided last evening while she was at London Airport seeing her husband off on the flight - furs and clothing valued at about £9, 000 were stolen. She wen out again at about 1 a.m. this morning and returned forty minutes later - and found that she had another visitor but although the telephone had been taken off its receives - nothing further had been stolen. Photo shows Mrs. Loraine seen listening to the radio at her home this morning - showing a portrait of her husband of the wireless set
