Jun. 06, 1954 - Lady Docker entertains Miners on yacht.: Thirty three man from the Yorkshire coalfields, were guests aboard Sir Bernard and Lady Docker's luxury yacht Shemra, for a cruise round the Isle of Wight on Saturday. The men drunk champagne and brandy, ate Salmon and col pheasant. Lady Docker, wearing slacks and a sweater, danced the hornpipe. The miners had been invited by Sir Bernard and his wife to visit their yacht as the result of a visit they made to the Water Haigh Colliery, near Leads.
