Jan. 01, 1954 - Royal Plate id moved from the Palace: Dingaan Simba, better known as Danny, was the last line of defense against Hijackers when the priceless royal plate was moved from Buckingham Palace to the Victoria and Albert Museum today. Danny, a 3 year old bull mastiff, and his Scots born owner. Mr. Alex Sinclair, stayed in the van carrying the plate on the one and half mile journey. the removal of the Queens plate is his most important job to day.
