Sep. 16, 1954 - Women's Royal Air Force Central Band Prepares For 1, 400 Miles Tour.: Members of the Women's Royal Air Force Central Band were to be seen at-Uxbridge this morning - rehearsing for their forthcoming 1400 miles tour of the country - which starts at Leicester on Sept. 21st. The band is under the command of Flight. Lieut. M.R. Davis, A.R.A.M. and is to visit Leicester; Derby; Northampton; Nottingham; Doncaster; Leeds; Huddersfield; Harrogate; Newcastle; Sunderland; Middlesborough and Hull. Photo shows W/O.
