Mar. 03, 1956 - Atom Ship sets Sail: Next month Britain will hold her third series of nuclear weapon tests in the area of the Monte Bello Islands, Australia. Taking part in the tests will be ships of both the Royal and the Royal Australian Navies. This series will be followed later this year by a fourth in the Central Australian desert. Picture Shows H. M. S. Narvik, tank landing, ship with a full load displacement of 5, 000 tons and ship's company of 250, stands ready to leave Grand Harbour, Valletta, Malts, for the tests. Battened down on her decks are smaller boats to be used in the tests
