May 05, 1957 - Silver Dagger For Fighters Against Communism: An inscribed silver kris (Malayan dagger) has been presented to No. 848 Fleet Air Arm Squadron of the British Royal Navy by Tunku Abdul Rahman, Chief Minister, and the Government of the Federation of Malaya. The award was made for the helicopter squadron's three years of outstanding operations against Communists in Malaya. Photo shows The helicopter men and their silver kris which they received on their return to Britain. On right holding the scabbard is Lt.-Commander D.T.J. Stanley, Squadron Commander at the time of the fight against the Communists
