Apr. 24, 1957 - Britain's foreign secretary sues for divorce. Mr and Mrs Selwyn Lloyd.: Mr. Selwyn Lloyd the 52 year old Foreign Secretary has filed a petition for divorce from his wife Elizabeth who is 30. She used to be his secretary in Chambers in the Temple. They were married in March 1951 and have a four year old daughter Joanna. Mr. Martin Lubbock an Old Etonian, who is 33 is named as co-respondent. Mrs. Lloyd was formerly Miss Elizabeth Marshall, daughter of a Liverpool solicitor.
