Jan. 11, 1957 - The Young Soldier Who Is Dead - And He Can Prove It: A young soldier stopped from a R.AS.F. Hastings aircraft at Lyneham, Wilts, yesterday, with his death certificate in his kitbag. It read Killed In Action'. I'm going to frame it and hang it in the parlor said 19-year-old Driver Thomas Lee, of Bag-Lane, Atherton, Lances. He was soldier who came back from the dead after a 15-day or deal in the Malayan Jungle.The death certificate was given to him by his commanding officer as a Souvenir. Though he walked on crutches and had a broke ankle heavily bound, he looked fit as he stopped across the tarmac at the airport yesterday. Driver Lee was the only survivor of a supply plane crash.
