Jul. 07, 1957 - Mr. Reiss Flies To Work - In A City Topper: Lloyd's underwriter Mr. Peter Reiss daily flies to London from his Andover home - for his day in the office. He uses a taxi from his home to the local airfield - pilots his Hornet Moth aircraft to Croydon and then goes on to the city by train. Mr. Reiss learned to fly when in the Royal Flying Corps between the wars. The aircraft was given him by a friend - and he uses his topper every day - so decided it was as well to use it while flying. Photo shows Mr. Peter Reiss at the controls of his Hornet Moth - complete with his topper
