Jul. 07, 1957 - A commemoration for the victims from the training-ship Niobe': Admiral Dr. H.C. Reader was one of the prominent guests at the commemoration for the victims from the training-ship Niobe who sank on July 26, 1932. 69 members of the crew perished. The German Navy League remembered the dead on July 10, 1957 at the ferry-house in Hamburg-Winterhude.
