1958 - Donkey Friend Visits David in Bed : It is a strange sight to see a donkey in a bedroom, but this one- ten- year old Jack- made a special visit to the home of David Leonard, also aged 10, with whom he share his sweets every day after school. The donkey owner heard of David's wish and Jack was taken to his home in Sussex-road, southall, and led up two flights of stairs to David's bedroom
