Feb. 02, 1958 - Ann Noblett Found Dead: The body of 17-year old Ann Noblett, the Hertfordshire schoolgirl who vanished nearly five weeks ago, has been found in Ross Grove, a Hertfordshire wood. She is believed to have been strangled. Ann's body was found by Lac Hugh Symonds, 21, and his 14-year old brother, Brian 14, of Tower View, Whitwell, when they went for a walk along a lane leading from Whitwell to Bandish with their dog RIP. She is thought to have been dumped in the wood, which had already been searched during the hunt for her. Ann Noblett vanished on December 30th on her way home to Marshalls Heath, Wheathampstead, from a dancing class at Harpenden.
