Feb. 02, 1958 - Privie of London's first planetarium. A preview was hold this morning of London's first Planetarium - which is in the form of a huge Copper Domed Building - constructed alongside the Madae Tussauds Waxworks in Baker Street. The Planetarium instrument itself - which is in of German manufacture - cost about £70, 000. Londoners will be able to se the courses of the stars projected on the London skyline. Events which normally take weeks and years will be speeded up to occupy only a few minutes. Photo shows the exterior of the huge dome which house the Planetarium - ready for the opening in May.
