1959 - Electronic Teacher Of War Tactics: A.S.T.T. Action Speed Tactical Teacher, is being used at the Royal Naval Tactical School, Woolwich, London, to teach officers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The New British electronic device simulates situations at sea and in the air. It is housed in three tiers; the lower two represent the below decks operations room of a ship or the cockpit of an aircraft; the top one is the control room with a large screen recording the tracks of ships and aircraft'.
