Jun. 03, 1956 - 3-6-56 First Annual Veteran Cycle Run from Ripley to Hyde Park Bicycles made for two, penny farthings and other vintage models were among the 52 machines which took the road again in the Southern Veteran Cycle Club first ever old-time run from Ripley, Surrey, to Hyde Park today. Photo Shows: Mrs. Evelyn Beaumont, of Brighton, is gallantly assisted in the pumping of her tyres on her 1903 Ridge Whitworth cycle by Mr. Peter Fitzgerald, who was riding a cross frame cycle of 1886, before the start of the run from Ripley today
