Jan. 09 A penny for his thoughts As the time draws near, for the end of the Liberal Party Leadership campaign, John Pardoe, MP for North Cornwall, who is standing for the party leadership against David Steel MP, is still finding a bit of time to take his two golden Labrador dogs, Verdi and Aslan, for a walk every morning over Hampstead Heath, close by to his home. Although one is easily ised to high pressures in the world of politics, it was a very pensive John Pardoe that our photographer saw this week. With only a few days left to go, before the end of the campaign (the result is announced on Wednesday 7th July at the Poplar Civic Centre in London), there must be many thoughts going through John Pardoe mind. as he prepares for final plans for victory
