Nov. 11, 1959 - 120-feet-high Brewery Chimney-stack is demolished in London: A 120-feet-high chimney stack, erected in 1912, was demolished today at the Watney Mann Stag Brewery at Victoris, London. The chimney, one of three, are being demolished on this site to make way for development. There has been a brewery on this site for at least 300 years, the first called the Stag Brewery, was built in the second half of the 17th century.
