Aug. 08, 1955 - I.R.A. Chief Addresses London Meeting While Search Goes On For Barrack Raiders. Thirty-two year old Danny Ryan - a carpenter from Belfast - addressed a meeting in Camden Town - while a search goes on throughout the country for the I.R.A. man who raided the Army Barracks at Arborfield, near Wokingham.and stole a quantity of arms and ammunition. Ryan is Chief of recruiting for the Irish Republican Movement - and the Movement's Secretary in England.
