Feb. 26 The Board room of the British Museum after a board meeting.: Articles on which the Trustees have made decisions of acceptance of purchase are placed around the Board Room. On the table is the Trustees Mace. Large painting is of Sir Hans Sloans whose collection of books etc. formed the original basis for the Museum in 1753
