Nov. 11, 1958 - Girl who exposed communist plot against her boss - quits her new job: Miss Vera Spinks, 32 years of former Trade Union Worker resigned her job yesterday at an electronics factory. Miss Spinks left the Amalgamated Engineering Union Last June after refusing to charge Mr. Tom Chapman, North London Divisional organiser, with indecent assault. The Communists had been scheming against Mr. Chapman since he was elected 18 months ago with a one vote majority over Communist Joe Scott. Photo shows Miss Vera Spinks yesterday
