Feb. 26 Air Patrol For New London - Birmingham Motorway: The new London - Birmingham Motorway will be the first in Britain to be regularly patrolled from the air when it is opened next month. The Automobile Association is to provide a continuous breakdown service on the motorway - including air patrols by spotter aircraft. The planes will be in constant radio contact with an A.A. office at Broughton flyover near Newport Pagnall - and the pilots will be in radio touch with a fleet of A.A. patrol vehicles.
