Feb. 26 Milk for the guardsmen. Machine installed at Wellington Barracks: A milk machine has been installed for the benefit of the guardsmen - at Wellington Barracks. The men can get a cardboard tub of iced milk by placing sixpence in the slot. The installation of the machine is a NAAFI experiment and has been received with mixed feelings among the men. Receiving a tub from the machine is Guardsman A. Hawkins of Maidstone, Kent who is of the Grenadiers. (Guardsman Jarman and Charlton are of the Coldstream Guards)
