Mar. 22 Getting ready for the Parade - at Luton weird and wonderful creations - for easter. The town of Luton, Bedfordshire, has for many years been famous for the manufacture of hats - for Luton was where the traditional straw Boater was created - but even Luton has never seen the like of the many dozens of weird and strange creations that have been manufactured - in readiness for the town's forthcoming Easter Parade. Bonnets and hats of all shapes and sizes have been made - with a typical Easter Flavour.
