Feb. 29 The admirable crichton with the loams in their tiny boat: In a studio boat at Shepperton, sit the shipwrecked family of Lord Loam, their maid, Tweeny and their butler, The Admirable Crichton'. Kenneth More, who plays the title role, keeps the rest of the east in good humour in spite of their dampness, by his constant jokes while they all wait for camera and sound adjustments. In the boat are Cecil Parker as Lord Loam, Sally Ann Howes as his daughter Lady Mary, Gerald Harper as Ernest, the man-about-town and Jack Watling as John. On one occasion the mechanical rocker catches the cast unaware and they are thrown all of a help in the bilges
