Feb. 29 British Tank Crashes Through Korea Tests To U.S. Order 500 fifty-ton Centurion tanks, now standard throughout the British Army, have been bought by the United States under the Military Aid program, the first foreign tank ever to win a U.S. order. The Centurion won its fame with the British Commonwealth Division in Korea. Can beat all comers in mountain warfare and Worth untold gold to the infantry are two front-line reports on it.
