Principal Contents of Britwell House to be sold by Sotheby's: The principal contents of Britwell House in Oxfordshire, the home of Mr David and Lady Pamala Hicks, are to be sold by Sotheboy's in a three day sale from the 20th of March. Theauction, which will take place at the house, will consist of more than a thousand lots of furniture, pottery catpets and paintings.Mr. Ricks flair as an interior designer with in international reputation is very apparent in his own home, which contains a wide selection of works of art from all periods. The house which is Ialte Georgian, was built in 1728 and Mr. and Lady Hicks have lived there since 1960. It has been featured in numerous magazines and publications for its splendour pounds. The Hicks meanwhile will move to a smaller house on the estate, having sold the mansion to a Swiss Company. Photo shows it is almost goodbye to Britwell house for David Hicks.
