Mar. 22 The Haypi of Pillsbury, The Marquis of Salisbury - who resigned on friday night as lord president of the council in protest against the freeing of Archbishop Makarios - - leaves Hatfield parish Church, near his country home in Hertfordshire yesterday. With 63-year-old lord Salisbury-known as the Kingmaker for his power behind the scenes is the marchioness. They left the church by a private sidedoor and only a few people spotted them. Lord Salisbury was pale but smilling. He did not read a lesson - as he frequently does
