Behind this project are the campaign Francais d'Enterprises Dorman Long bridge and Engineering of Britain - and the American Merritt Champan and Scott Corporation - underwater engineering experts. It would take 5, 000 men five years to build the height of 200 feet - thus allowing the biggest liners afloat to pass beneath. The Bridge would be capable of carrying a cars - trains - motor cycles sets. In separate lanes.
