Dec. 12, 1961 - Lord mayor presents Australian Christmas pudding to old folks club - and does a knees up'. Sir Frederick Hoare the Lord Mayor of London this afternoon visited the Three Score Club for old folks - in Gravel Lane - where he presented and distributed a 160 lb. Christmas pudding - donated to him by the Australian Government.. After handing out the portions - the Lord Mayor joined in a knees up with some of the old folk.
