Mar. 03, 1963 - Outdoor girl Carolyn to become Warden at Island. Bird Sanctuary: Outdoor girl Carolyn Pratt - who is at present Games Mistress at a grammar school in Pembroke, South Wales is to take up a new job soon. She is to become a full time Warden at the Bird Sanctuary at the lonely island of Bardsey off the North Wales coast. The only other people on the island will be her 23 year old brother Robing who is a lobster fisherman and two Carolyn is used to a lonely life for her father is a forestry worker and they live miles from anywhere.
