Jan. 16, 1963 - V Bomber Crews taught Winter Survival: RAF V bomber and fighter pilots who between them them have so far cost the British tax-player3 millions to train have recently been on a course deep in the forests of Bavaria where they have been learning the art of Survival in artic conditions. The H.Q. of the training has been the village of Bad Kohlgrub, 90 miles south of Munich. They have set out from there and gone into the deep forests in that region where there and gone into the deep forests in that region where they have learned the lore of the forest- to trap and kill wild animals - to use their skins for gloves, socks and other purpose.
