Apr. 05, 1963 - Women's Police Patrols: Britain's first mobile patrols crewed by women Police Constables are going into operation experimentally in London next week. The Six W.P.C.s selected have all completed an advanced driving course at the Metropolitican Police Driving School at Hendon. The crews will drive an M.G. B open two seater and will pay particular attention to road safety, and the moral dangers of young girls hitch Hikers.
