May 05, 1963 - Rubbish! Says British Diplomat: When the Wynne Spy Trial began yesterday in Moscow, one of the accused - Russian Oleg Penkovsky told a fantastic story of an alleged British spy ring involving six Britons employed at the British Embassy in Moscow. One of the Britons named was Roderick Chisholm, and it was alleged that Penkkovsky passed information to Chisholm when giving sweets to the Chisholm children. Yesterday at his home in Sussex Chisholm stated that the story was complete fabrication and that he did not even know Penkovsky when he was in Moscow.
