Sep. 15, 1964 - 15-9-64 Transport Ministers talk over the Channel Tunnel Project Mr. Ernest Marples, the Minister of Transport and his French counterpart, M. Marc Jacquet yesterday paid a visit to Dover Castle to inspect early progress on the Geological Surney in preparation for the Channel Tunnel construction. They later went to Mid Channel to inspect one of the boring vessels at work.
