Jan. 02, 1964 - More Troops off to Cyprus: A further 700 troops will be flying out to Cyprus during the night following messages from Commonwealth Secretary Mr. Duncan Sandy's, who is supervising cease-fire operation on the island, to defense chiefs in London. Included in tonight's air-lift, will be men of the 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment, based at Aldershot.
