Oct. 10, 1962 - Lord Morrison opens namesake pub: Lord Morrison of Lambeth yesterday opened a public house named after himself -- in Lambeth, south London. The pub, in Wandsworth Road, contains many photographs and mementos of the Labour peer, and the inn sign is a cartoon of him by Sir David Low.
