Jun. 06, 1964 - Briton Expelled From Moscow Flies In: 31-year-old Mervyn Matthews, the student from Swansea, who was expelled from Moscow after falling in love with a Russian girl, flew in to London Airport yesterday. He left his 30-year-old fiancee Ludmilla Bibikova in tears at her flat in Moscow - they had banned their wedding. Mr. Matthews, who was studying at Moscow University had been given 48 hours to leave the country. Yesterday he said that he hoped that Ludmilla would eventually be able to join him in this country.
