Jun. 06, 1963 - Henry Ford takes his chiefs around the factories.: Henry Ford II who has come to Britain with 15 of the Directors of the American Ford Company, spent an energetic day yesterday. The party left Tower Pier in London on a chartered launch, sailed the 17 miles down the Thames to the Dagenham factory, then they visited the factories at Aveloy and Basildon. They then travelled on to Southend Airport where they took a plane to Liverpool where they saw the new Halewood plant. They later flew on to Brussels, the Headquarters of Ford International.
