May 02, 1967 - Gold Bullion raid in London Gang get away with ?750, 000: A Royal Mint Refinery van was found abandoned in Twisden Road, Kentish Town, yesterday after a gang had overpowered its crew of three-temporairly blinding two of them with ammonia gas-and get away with ?750, 000 in gold bullion. The van was ambushed in Bowling, jewellery manufacturers. Photo shows The crew of the bullion van after yesterday's raid.
