Jun. 06, 1966 - Monster Problem of a Long Distance Swimmer, 17 Year Old Girl Plans to Swim Loch Ness. It is inevitable that anyone contemplating swimming Loch Ness must get a mite weary of tired jokes about the famous Monster, better known as Nessie. But Nessie is likely to be the least of 17 year old Brenda Sherratt problems when she attempts her 24 mile swim of Loch Ness next month. The only giant sized problem she will meet is the temperature of the water, reputedly the coldest in Britain and the reason why no one as yet completed the trip. Brenda, of Bellington, Chesire, is training for her big swim in private Lake at Henbury.
