Jun. 04, 1967 - London's Billingsgate Market Transformed into Le Havres Waterfront for a Film: Director Bud Yorkin, and art director Michael Stringer of Casino Royale fame, have transformed Billingsgate Fish Market into Le Havre Waterfront for Mirisch Films multi-million dollar comedy, Inspector Clouseau'. Every shop, street and traffic sign within one-square mile area in and around the Market was converted into sidewalk bisros. The young Broadway star, Alan Arkin plays the irrepressible Clouseau.
