Jun. 06, 1967 - Security Council Unanimously Calls For Ceasefire in Middle East: The Security Council tonight unanimously called upon the Governments concerned in the present hostilities in the Middle East, as a first step, to take forthwith all measures for an immediate cease-fire and for the cessation of all military activities in the area'. The Secretary-General was asked to keep the Council promptly and currently informed on the situation'.
