Apr. 12, 1968 - London's Oxford Circus Loses It's Umbrella': London's Oxford Circus will be losing it's umbrella, the temporary read bridge which was built over the permanent read surface in 1963 during the building of the new Victoria Underground line.Work will be going on ever this Easter week-end and normal traffic will be resumed there after the Bank Holiday.
