Apr. 12, 1968 - London's Oxford Circus Loses It's Umbrella': London's Oxford Circus has lest it's umbrella, the temporary road bridge which was built over the permanent road surface in 1963 during the building of the new Victoria Underground line. Work will be going on over the Easter week-end, and normal traffic will be resumed there after the Bank Holiday. Photo shows A view looking down on Oxford Circus as the umbrella bridge was being dismantled today in preparation for the normal traffic to be resumed after the Bank Holiday
